45,000
adults in the Dayton and Northern Cincinnati areas spend considerable time
each week listening to programs on WMUB 88.5FM. They are affluent, influential,
highly educated, well traveled--and they are intensely loyal to public radio.
81% of NPR listeners
indicate their opinion of a company is enhanced when they hear that company
named as a contributor.
70% say a company's
support of public radio has a positive influence on their decision to make
a purchase.*
Does this sound like a desirable target audience
for your business, corporation or professional group?
Each time your support is acknowledged on WMUB
you are brought into a circle of shared commitment with thousands of individual
contributors. No other medium gives you the equivalent high-end market exposure
along with the recognition that comes from supporting a respected public service.
Underwriting is public radio's acknowledgment
of business and organization contributions through on-air announcements. Underwriting
on WMUB are 18-second announcements which acknowledge your support of public
radio, and includes your company or organization’s name, a brief description
of your mission or products and services, and contact information.
New underwriters receive recognition in WMUB's
monthly program guide, SoundWords,
distributed to more than 3,000 homes and businesses throughout the region, and
on WMUB's web site. Your contribution is tax deductible as allowed by law.
