Romney: "I'm focused on big things"


Before an enthusiastic crowd of 4,000 supporters at milling company in Bond Hill, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney promised to focus on "big change" as president, while hammering at President Obama for being focused on "small things."


"He has now resorted to talking about characters on Sesame Street,'' Romney said, referring to Romney own reference to the Sesame Street character Big Bird in one of the presidential debates and his plans to cut funding for public broadcasting.

Council Democrats to cast Obama votes today

Four Democratic members of Cincinnati City Council plan to go to the Hamilton County Board of Elections this afternoon to cast their ballots for President Obama, in an event aimed at encouraging early voting.


Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls and council members Yvette Simpson, Wendell Young and Laure Quinlivan will be at the board of election at 824 Broadway downtown at 4 p.m. today - only hours after GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney makes an appearance at a machine milling plant in Bond Hill.
