Musicians Michael G. Ronstadt and Bobby Fisher's new CD

Two acclaimed and sought-after touring and studio musicians, Bobby Fisher (guitar/songwriter) and Michael G. Ronstadt (cello/guitar/songwriter), have joined together to create a new and truly special CD entitled Ancient and Unending, and as they tell Lee Hay, it started as a musical idea that took creative scheduling and the help of some very talented friends to finally come to fruition.

Covington's Behringer Crawford Museum

Sitting at the top of Devou Park in Covington, the Behringer Crawford Museum chronicles the history and culture of Northern Kentucky. In addition to a variety of permanent and special exhibits, the Museum hosts a number of special events, none more popular than their summer music series. Laurie Risch, executive director of the museum, and Mark Schalchter, volunteer coordinator of Music@BCM, join Mark Perzel to share some of the upcoming music and displays visitors will be able to enjoy during the summer.

The School of Rock: Taking it to the Stage

The School of Rock in Mason is founded on the principle that the best way to learn music is to play music.

The faculty of The School of Rock is associated with several notable Cincinnati bands such as The Rusty Griswolds, Wussy, Fairmount Girls and Afghan Whigs.  They take students of all ages from the lesson room to the stage by developing their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels.

I met with Tim Garry, owner and General Manager and Chris Barlow, Bass Instructor and Show Director from The School of Rock.
