Covington's Behringer Crawford Museum

Sitting at the top of Devou Park in Covington, the Behringer Crawford Museum chronicles the history and culture of Northern Kentucky. In addition to a variety of permanent and special exhibits, the Museum hosts a number of special events, none more popular than their summer music series. Laurie Risch, executive director of the museum, and Mark Schalchter, volunteer coordinator of Music@BCM, join Mark Perzel to share some of the upcoming music and displays visitors will be able to enjoy during the summer.

Clay Alliance Spring Pottery Fair

DeSales Corner in East Walnut Hills will be lined with some of the area’s finest ceramic artists on May 4 for the 13th Annual Clay Alliance Spring Pottery Fair. The event’s co-chair, Jessica Thayer, joins our Barbara Gray to talk about some of the 60 artists who will be exhibiting, as well as the some of the music and other activities that will be going on, rain or shine, that day.

The Updated Taft Theatre

If you haven’t been to Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre in a while, you might be surprised by some of the physical changes you’ll see. Robyn Carey-Allgeyer welcomes in Ed Morrell, the general manager of the Taft, to talk about the resurrection of the ballroom as a new concert space; some of the digital additions; as well as the original design and architect of the historic theater.
