Four Democratic members of Cincinnati City Council plan to go to the Hamilton County Board of Elections this afternoon to cast their ballots for President Obama, in an event aimed at encouraging early voting.

Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls and council members Yvette Simpson, Wendell Young and Laure Quinlivan will be at the board of election at 824 Broadway downtown at 4 p.m. today - only hours after GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney makes an appearance at a machine milling plant in Bond Hill.

Northern Kentucky University will host the second in a series of forums featuring candidates for state and congressional offices in northern Kentucky.

The forum will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the James C. and Rachel M. Votruba Student Union Ballroom.

Tonight's schedule includes:

5:30 p.m. - Brian Linder, Republican candidate for the 61st Kentucky House District.

6 p.m. - Adam Haas, Republican candidate for the 67 Kentucky House District.

6:30 p.m. - William (Bill) Adkins, Democratic candidate for the 4th District U.S. House seat.

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney will meet with supporters to talk about jobs and the economy Thursday morning at a machining and milling plant in Bond Hill.

Romney will appear at Jet Machine on Steger Drive in Bond Hill, a high-tech machinist plant that does work for the military, the aerospace industry and the oil and gas industry.

Tomorrow afternoon, Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan, wil be making an appearance at Cleveland State University.
