Cincinnati’s annual Paddlefest is once again joined this year by Pedalfest, and the celebration of the outdoors and the Ohio River grows larger and larger. Paddlefest organizer Brewster Rhodes and Pedalfest organizer Nern Ostendorf are in The Front Row with Betsy Ross with a preview of the events coming June 20-22.

Bengals Bowling Bash for Most Valuable Kids

The Most Valuable Kids program provides inner-city and high risk kids the opportunity to attend sporting events, concerts, plays and more by receiving contributions of tickets that would otherwise go unused. To help fund their efforts, they will host their Bengals Bowling Bash on June 8 at Princeton Bowl. 75 years of the Sharon Woods Golf Course

Sharon Woods Golf Course, part of the Hamilton County Park District, will be celebrating its 75th anniversary starting on Monday, May 27. Tom Bach, the course’s PGA professional, is in The Front Row with Betsy Ross to discuss the long history of the course, some of the special events happening during the anniversary week, and a fun bit of trivia as to which legendary golfer took the ceremonial first tee shot when the course opened.
