New 4-D Transistors

In the world of computing it’s all about being faster and better. As Ann Thompson reports in this week’s Focus on Technology, a group of Purdue and Harvard scientists have come up with a new 4-D transistor. The novel design and material, directing the flow of electrical current, is said to be a preview of future computers.
