Driving will be up and flying will be down this Thanksgiving holiday. AAA is predicting a 2 percent increase in the number of people traveling 50 miles or more by car. But travel by air is expected to be down almost 7 percent because of reduced airline capacity. Spokeswoman Elaine Zeinner in Cincinnati says steady gas prices are playing a part in more people choosing to drive. Overall, AAA's survey says travel will be up 3 percent across the country from last Thanksgiving. In Ohio, 1.5 million people will be traveling to their holiday destinations, which is also 3 percent higher than a year ago. Zeinner says the people AAA surveyed are feeling more comfortable and confident in the economy. That's helping drive the increase in travel.
