Another H1N1 death in No Ky

Five people in Northern Kentucky have now died from H1N1. The region’s health department said Thursday a Boone County woman in her 30’s is the latest death from the swine flu. Officials say she did have additional health problems besides the virus. This is the 2nd H1N1 associated death in Boone County. There have been 2 in Kenton County and 1 in Pendleton County. A health official says swine flu is a serious illness, and it’s tragic another local family must deal with a loss related to the virus. The Northern Kentucky Health Department is holding another vaccination clinic this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at Summit View Middle School in Independence. Its targeting residents at high-risk for complications from the swine flu.
