Register to vote when renewing your driver's license

Democrats in the Ohio House are considering yet another bill that would overhaul the State's election system. But this time, the bill contains a new measure that the legislation's sponsor, Democratic representative Dan Stewart, says would make it easier for people to register to vote. He says people would be asked at the BMV when renewing their drivers license, whether they want to update their voter registration. Stewart’s bill would also restore special elections in February and August that were previously targeted for elimination. Stewart hopes to get the measure passed through the Ohio House by the end of next week.
