Some Voting Confusion in Columbia Township

Some Fairfax voters who didn’t get to cast ballots for the Columbia Township Trustees race this morning may not get to. The Hamilton County Board of Elections sent out ballots to Fairfax with those candidates missing first thing this morning, but corrected the problem before 10:00 AM. 124 residents did not get to vote on that race. A board official says the board wanted to let those people vote, but lawyers say the law doesn’t allow that. The losing candidate in the Columbia Township race could challenge the results and those lost votes could then be included in the results.
