Filmmaker Christopher Maloney has recently completed his documentary, Cryptotrip, about his journey to talk to people who claim to have seen one or more of these unknown creatures. Andrea Torrice is an award winning documentary and public television producer in Cincinnati who is currently working on a very personal new film about her mother. Art as Action: A Conversation with Abstract Expressionist Painter Gloria Torrice details her mother and some friends in the 1940’s who moved to Manhattan and took on the predominantly male art world. She joins our Jane Durrell to discuss what prompted her to make this film and how she is going about getting it funded and shown.
