Craig is taking the top job in his hometown of Detroit.</p><p>"It's home," says Craig. "My family, my siblings, mom and dad who are aging, those are big draws... I started my policing career there almost 38 years ago. We had a five percent goal at the beginning of 2012 and we certainly exceeded that, ending the year with a ten percent reduction in overall crime," he says.</p><p>Over-the-Rhine, Avondale and Winton Hills saw the biggest drops in homicides.
