How Covington faced down a $20M deficit

A year and a half ago Covington City Manager Larry Klein projected a $20 million deficit over five years. Now with what he calls "painful" cuts out of the way, including new labor contracts with higher health care premiums, a reorganization of city departments and a consolidation of emergency dispatch services, Covington is on track to save 20 million over five years.

Covington's Behringer Crawford Museum

Sitting at the top of Devou Park in Covington, the Behringer Crawford Museum chronicles the history and culture of Northern Kentucky. In addition to a variety of permanent and special exhibits, the Museum hosts a number of special events, none more popular than their summer music series. Covington toasts newest job creator

Kentucky is raising a glass to the newest company bringing jobs to the commonwealth. The Russian bottle decorating and packaging company is opening a manufacturing facility in Covington.

Westpack is investing nearly $4.5 million and creating 63 full-time jobs.

Kentucky Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson calls the announcement a "tremendous commitment."
